The annual excavation campaign at Tilla Bulak lasts for
about 2 months, from mid-March to mid-May. We are happy if you are
interested in working with us, even though our vacancies are limited. Applications can be sent throughout the year, but should arrive
not later than November, with regard to the following years’ spring campaign.
The main precondition for joining the team is previous digging experience, preferably, but not necessarily in the Near East, and
experience with mudbrick architecture. Every team-member is expected to supervise a trench and handle both excavation and documentation.
Further criteria are the ability to work in a team and relevant language skills (with Russian, Turkish or Uzbek as the most relevant languages).
